Driveways, Patios, Walkways and Surfaces — Clean Again

Pressure washing is one of those services that makes a property look dramatically better in a single visit. Concrete that has been grey and stained for years comes back close to its original colour. Patios used for entertaining feel fresh again. Walkways stop looking neglected.

We offer pressure washing on the Saanich Peninsula as a stand-alone service and as part of recurring property maintenance. If your driveway, patio, or walkway is starting to look worn — moss in the cracks, algae stains, weathering, or just years of dirt — a pressure wash usually fixes it in an afternoon.

What We Pressure Wash

Common pressure washing requests on the Peninsula:

  • Driveways — removing weathering, oil staining, moss, and algae
  • Concrete patios and walkways
  • Stone and paver patios
  • Sidewalks and pathways
  • Decks and exterior steps
  • Retaining walls and stone features
  • Outdoor entertaining areas
  • Pool surrounds and pool deck surfaces
  • Garage floors and entryway concrete

Why Spring Pressure Washing Matters Here

The Saanich Peninsula's mild, wet climate is great for plants — and unfortunately also great for moss, algae, and lichen growth on hard surfaces. Driveways and patios that look fine in late summer can look badly weathered by spring.

As part of our spring cleanup, we pressure wash:

  • Moss out of cracks in driveways and patios
  • Algae and stain buildup from north-facing concrete
  • Black streaks on walkways from overhanging trees
  • Lichen and moss off pavers, stone, and concrete features

If you book spring cleanup with us, pressure washing is often included or added as a small extra.

How We Approach a Pressure Wash

We work in sections, top-down, to avoid pushing dirt back onto already-cleaned surfaces. We use the right pressure for the material — concrete handles more than pavers, pavers more than wood, wood more than older stone. The goal is to clean it without damaging it.

After the wash, we sweep away the slurry, check the runoff, and make sure plants and landscaping near the work area are rinsed clean. The property is left tidy, not just clean in spots.

When Pressure Washing Pairs Well with Other Work

Pressure washing is most effective when it is combined with other yard maintenance:

  • Spring yard cleanup (pressure wash + edging beds + clearing winter debris)
  • Pre-sale property prep (pressure wash + lawn care + hedge trimming + bed cleanup)
  • Estate maintenance recurring schedule (annual or biannual pressure wash visits)
  • After hedge trimming or pruning (pressure wash to clear stray debris from hard surfaces)

What to Tell Us When You Request a Quote

For a pressure washing quote, it helps to share:

  • The areas you want washed (driveway, patio, walkway, deck, etc.)
  • Approximate size or photos of the area
  • How long it has been since the last wash
  • Whether you want it as a one-time service or as part of recurring care
  • Any access notes (gate codes, parking, hose access)

A few photos are usually the fastest way to a good quote. You can send them to regentgardensinc@gmail.com or text the same number you would call.
